Beef is good, not too hard. Fried rice & chow mein, we like them. Hot & sour soup, first time try, we think it's too sour. Better place order earlier before you arrive to pick up in weekend. Remark: If you eat inside, they still offer you box not plate.

They've become a staple in our community and IMO they've replaced King Egg Roll as my go to for party food and in general Chinese food if I'm looking for a quick meal. The cashiers are courteous and efficient all the while juggling the phones. Best features: 1) pricing - not overpriced compared to King Egg Roll, 2) freshness - food is made to order and not sitting on warming plates all day, 3) not rude unlike King Egg Roll, 4) convenience - place a phone order or order online for a quick pick up!

Food here is still great and it's freshly made when you order. This particular review is not about the food but about how a situation was handled and how they can fix it. I came in the other day and got my usual combo meal. I was told "It will be ready in 15 min". So I went to CVS next door, came back in 20 min and waited in line (again) to pick up my food. I noticed they were calling out random names and people were coming to pick up their food but the clerks weren't verifying that people were actually getting the right orders, they were just handing out whatever to whomever. Finally when it was my turn, 25 minutes have passed since I ordered. They looked around my order and were confused. Turns out they gave it to someone else. But they tried to play it off and say "sorry it's not ready yet, it'll be another 10 minutes" which turned out to be another 20 minutes. They ended up apologizing for the wait and gave me 1 "free eggroll" which wasnt all that great. I would have rather have them admit that they made a mistake and have them address the problem and fix it because I'm sure it happens quite often with the fact that it gets pretty busy there. They should get a numbering system when an order is ready and have the customer show them the receipt so they can verify. Just a free piece of advice.

I had the best experience with this restaurant tonight. First, I stopped by and ordered food for 3 people. The individual who was working at the front register took my order and said that it would be 30 minutes, so I left and came back. Once I came back I saw that they have 3 full bags of food ready for me to take with me! I could barely carry the food to my car, there was THAT much food! Once I got home I saw that they gave us HUGE portions of food, AND all of the food was tasty and delicious! Well they gave us enough food to last us the entire week and it turned out that we spent less money than we would have grocery shopping and we saved all that time and didn't have to cook! I was telling my roommate that the food here was so delicious that I'd gladly drive all the way across town just to pick up food from or to eat at this restaurant! This restaurant is a counter service restaurant that also has a decent size seating area so that you can eat at the restaurant. It's kind of like the the dining experience that you'd have eating in the mall. If you are getting your food to go/for take out, and you find yourself short on time, I would definitely try calling my order in ahead of time, rather than placing it at the counter and waiting for it. I would also order extra sauce packers when ordering the Pot Stickers! Definitely some of the best Chinese food that I've found in the Bay Area!

Got the #5 combo plate that comes with 2 fried shrimp, sweet and sour pork, Mongolian beef, and bbq pork fried rice for $14.50 after tax. I looked on Yelp for the menu since it has been awhile since I've been here. The prices all increased so I uploaded the new menu if you don't order through their website you can see the prices here. No complaints on the food, I ate everything

We ordered a bunch of items to try for work lunch around noon time off their website. It probably took 20 mins. It was ready when we arrived. There were no utensils included in the to-go bag though. Remember to get utensils. The portion was huge! They really pack the to-go boxes full! So worth it! The best items were the chow fun, Mongolian beef, and fried prawns. The house chow mein and house fried rice were good too. All the proteins were tender and juicy. Seasoned perfectly. Not over salted. Cons: The sweet and sour pork was heavily breaded with a little chunk of meat. The eggrolls had like almost no pork but a bunch of cabbage so I wouldn't recommend it. I would call it a veggie eggroll lol. Chicken salad wasn't good either. The chicken was dry. Chinese food is oily. So that's expected. But the chow fun was really oily.

Do you ever just stumble upon a restaurant on accident because you're hungry and you kind of just say to yourself, Chinese sounds good, then you manage to find the extasy of Chinese food finds of your life. Well, that just happened to us. The food was incredible. It was soooo good. The fried chicken wings alone are well worth a trip over to this end of the bay. My daughter gobbled up her house chow mien. The crispy sesame beef was perfection. My daughter also loved the sweet and sour pork, as did I. The rice was good. The only thing I really didn't care about because everything else was delicious. It was really good food. Do not pass up the chance to get your Chinese fix from here. The chicken wings, I just cant stop thinking about them.

Tldr: local favorite for chicken salad, salt & pepper dishes, and wonton noodle soup. I also like their fried rice. My go-to for fairly quick Chinese food to go. I have their phone number on speed dial to order before I drive to pick it up. I really like their salt and pepper shrimp, and the S&P chicken is really good. The fried rice has a bit of wok hei and is quite fluffy. Chicken salad comes with crushed peanuts, fried wonton wrapper strips, and a deliciously sweet salad dressing. The shredded white chicken meat is a bit dry if you don't use the dressing. The wonton noodle soup hits the spot on rainy days. Broth is very mild, mostly cabbage flavor. I've been coming here for over 20 years, and I'll be back again soon.
